SERVE & CONNECT IN MINISTRY
Northampton United Methodist Church seeks to illuminate the world with the hope and love of Jesus Christ. Through community appreciation initiatives and partnerships with regional and national organizations, we are growing as a congregation to love those around us. Contact the church office to join us in these projects.
Each year, Northampton UMC participates in collecting shoe boxes filled with gifts which are distributed by Samaritan’s Purse to evangelize and disciple children around the world as a part of their Operation Christmas Child program.
Family Promise helps homeless families with children stay together and achieve sustainable independence. As a church in their network, we provide hospitality to these families during their transition into permanent housing.
The goal of Royal Family KIDS camp is to give children a week of positive memories in a Christian environment. Involvement opportunities include serving as a camp staff member for a week in the summer, planning and hosting our annual fundraising auction, and various other behind-the-scenes roles. Debby Rowland founded Kids Capes of Courage to provide hand-sewn capes to children who need a little extra courage due to illness or special circumstances. The capes symbolize strength, power, and bravery to help give boys and girls self confidence to conquer whatever obstacles they face.
