Nurturing Young Hearts and Minds

Welcome to NUMC Children’s Ministry a developmentally appropriate, safe environment, where children can learn about the love of Jesus and develop a growing relationship with Him.

All our leaders have a desire to work with children and have been educated and trained in Safe Sanctuary policies. All adult leaders have had background checks. The Safe Sanctuary Policy is continually reviewed and updated to meet the needs of the children at NUMC. All leaders are updated annually. 

Registering your child:
To be in compliance with Safe Sanctuary policy each child is required to have a “child registration form” on file , which is to be updated annually.

Sunday morning childcare is located on the 2nd floor in the children’s wing during 10:30 worship service.

Ages: Infant through preschool
Location: Room 204
Time: Drop off starting at 10:20 am
Sign in: All children ages infant through preschool will fill out our numbered, 2-part child identification label, The filled out portion remains with your child, parents, keep the square numbered portion for pick up. Please fill out the sign-in sheet on the counter. This helps us keep a record of attendees.
What to Bring: Diapers, wipes, extra clothes, bottles, cups, snacks. PLEASE LABEL all items.
Pick Up: Please present your numbered Identification sticker.

Sunday school is located on the 2nd floor in the children’s wing during 10:30 worship service.

Ages: Primary grades Kindergarten – 5th grade
Location: Room 202 
Time: Children go to worship service first then Sunday school (Children’s Wing) after Children’s chat
Pick Up: Parent/Guardians, please go to room 202 to pick up your child.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a summer program for children to learn about Jesus through singing, creating, playing, and learning about how Jesus always wants us to look to Him to guide our lives.

We follow Safe Sanctuary Policies. All leaders are educated and trained. All adult leaders have background checks.
